This book/story starts out great and ends great. I just wish it would have been longer. I'm planning on reading more by this author.
3.5 stars mostly because this felt more like a sample than a complete story. That doesn't mean I didn't like it, and it did it's job as I was left wanting more.The world is very interesting, I liked the characters, and there is a setup here for a very good action-romance. Nolan has a good narrative ...
So I really liked this short story. Interesting world, great characters, only problem is that it was too good and now I'm kind of annoyed that it ended so abruptly and I didn't see a continuation of Isla and Ransom's story anywhere else! Bummer.
