The carnival is coming to town, and it's bringing something besides the smells of popcorn and cotton candy. Death follows this carnival, as well as a rash of mysterious disappearances. Paranormal handler Finn McCoy is given the task of finding the missing son of a Cincinnati crime boss, and all the clues point to a traveling carnival currently winding its way through North Carolina. When one of the mobster's employess suffers a puzzling death on the outskirts of Asheville, McCoy begins to suspect that supernatural forces are at work. Accompanied by the streetwise best friend of the man he is searching for, McCoy races against time to discover the dark secret behind the Drugger Brothers' Carnival before the body count starts to rise.
