Cassie is now with the school in New York and trying to resist the power within. She's trying to deal with what she has to do to survive and the romance between her and Ranjit. It's an interesting story and an interesting episode in the continuing adventures in Darke Academy.
My opinion of Cassie went up by ALOT in this book.Why? Mainly because she isn't taking shit from anyone anymore. She stands up for herself. She speaks her mind. She fights for justice, for what she believes in. And she is not afraid of making sacrifices for those she cares about. Book 2 in the serie...
Same thing as a first book. Only that ghost/spirit thing isn't so much interesting.
