Shit, son. This is getting better and better. Mac and Barrons banter made me laugh so many times. Barrons was in full alpha mode and I was loving it. Dani was bringing the fecking Hit-Girl awesomeness. Mac was still somewhat stuck in chick-lit fantasy but she was also ready to get dirty. Faefever! H...

Book 1 and 2 of this series are just basically the same with a few more action scenes but very little plot advancement. I honestly feel that this series could have easily been just 3 books long and it would have been just fine.

*******SPOILERS*******Beginning I would like to say how much I like how the charachters' develop in the two books of the series I've read. You can literally see Mac growing up, setting her childhood fantasies and dreams aside, getting over her "glam girl" persona, becoming more suspicious and aware ...

I enjoyed this book much more than the first, probably because Mac isn't nearly as annoying as she was in the first book. She grows up a little more in this book and stops caring how she looks. She also becomes much more badass, which I enjoyed. The book becomes much darker, though it claims to be ab...
