Note: This review contains spoilers from the previous three books. Bone Crossed opens with the same scene that closes out the previous book, Iron Kissed, for which I was extremely thankful. Mercy is still recovering and dealing with the repercussions from her assault by Tim, and deciding to take A...
I had about as much chance of taking out Marsilia as my cat Medea did of taking on a mountain lion. Maybe less. I really love this series but after I read the previous book in the series I needed to concentrate on my ARCs and NetGalley books so I took a little break from it. The series stayed on my...
Mercy's barely a week out from the tragic events that happened at the end of Iron Kissed when Stefan pops in at her feet, a blackened husk, whispering "She knows."With vampires stalking her steps and pressing vague attacks on the werewolves in her life, Mercy decides to take a trip to help a friend ...
Picks right up where Iron Kissed left off. I really like how Mercy saves herself. I do wish she would stop blaming herself for things that happen. Marsilia is an evil bitch who just needs to die. I really enjoyed Stefan and his larger role in this book.
I feel like if I tried to explain what I do and don't like about these books, it's not going to make any sense. My mind wanders. Even during the "exciting" parts. I don't know. I wish I did. It must be a personal style thing because I do read "non-fluffy" books and "not the usual genre standard" boo...
Maybe I should have thanked him before I hit him with the tire iron. “Damn it, Mercy.” He didn't like to swear in front of women. I always counted it a personal triumph when I could make him do it. Adam was the Alpha werewolf in charge of the local pack. He was tough. He could be mean when he had to...
Reviewed by: Rabid ReadsThis installment picks up right where the last one left off and by right I’m talking like one split second later. Well, let’s just say that things don’t go quite as I had envisioned them. In Bone Crossed Mercy is still recovering from what went down in Iron Kissed so she’s no...
This series and I just aren't ever going to work out, everything about it annoys me and rubs me the wrong way. I am specially upset that Mercy's rape was used as a catalyst for her to finally make up her mind between Samuel and Adam and then she later has sex only a week after the rape. Rape isn't ...
I was prepared to dislike this book, as the synopsis didn't sound all that interesting to me, but the author did an excellent job defying my expectations. I was dreading the whole aftermath of the last book, but found myself admiring the way she handled Mercy's recovery. I also dreaded the whole va...
