A short, simple book that made me laugh (Fafner the self-centered, talking dog is a hoot!). Although it's mostly an adventure novel of a young boy, it made me think too. The absurdity of this book is just amazing, weaving elements of space and time travel, a talking dog, a relative that nobody remembers being related to, a great frolicking popsicle, motorcycle apes, and much, much more.Beware false popsicle idols.
