Let me start by saying I have read everything that Suzanne Brockmann has written to date and have love everything. That being said this book is no exception. In the not too distance future , a new highly addictive drug name Destiny is making its rounds. It promises to reverse aging and to bring stren...

WOW!!! I loved it!!! It was really, really good! The action was non-stop and all the protagonists (more than just Shane and Mac) were great! The idea was at the same time old and new, but executed very well! I cannot wait for the next book!

I did enjoy this story. Set in a near future where things are worse than they are now and you need money to get anywhere. Shane Laughlin is an ex-naval SEAL, dishonourably discharged and looking to do something, preferably honest. He's offered a chance to take part in a project and finds himself cau...

Good new series by the talented Ms. Brockmann. This new world is a bit futuristic. Reminds me of the Christine Feehan Ghost Hunter books mixed in with a little bit of Gena Showalter's Alien series. And of course, these talented people with powers are so similar to the FT&T from the very talented M...

I liked Ms. Brockmann's entry into the universe of dystopian paranormals, featuring kick-ass heroines and superpowered individuals reminiscent of the "X-Men". She's starting a new series with these books, naturally there's a Navy SEAL on-board, and it should appeal to her current fans. One caveat--th...

Born to Darkness starts a new series by Suzanne Brockmann. It is several years in the future and things have changed in the world. The government has gone corporate, people have developed psychic abilities and a new drug is on the street that turns ordinary people into monsters. The Obermeyer Inst...

This is only my second book by Suzanne Brockmann (I've also read book one in her long established Troubleshooters series about a Navy Seal team) but I'm going to go ahead and assume that she follows the same pattern in all of her books of running three simultaneous romances in each novel. There's a ...

My first Suzanne Brockmann read and I enjoyed it. I loved all the characters, the romance and relationships between them felt real, I can't wait to see more of them in the continuation of the series. However, Born to Darkness moved at an incredibly slow and drawn out pace with little action until th...

The setting is futuristic with elements of the paranormal with some action romance for good measure. The very best thing I found about this book is that is sort of played out as 2.5 romances. There are two wonderfully developed romances with one that kinda happens and is fun to watch. As a matter of...
