This was AMAZING and I'm in awe of Brandon Shire. It is a tender, vulnerable telling of how two lonely people find each other - each so afraid to reveal his feelings, to be honest, to hope that the other feels the same as he. Shire's prose is so tactile - he reveals the details through subtle nuan...

This is truly a character driven novel. I can't put my finger on just one thing that I liked about this story. It was all done superbly. There were some hard, intense, & sometimes just flat out brutal things going on here, but this one is beautiful in it's brutality. This book is not an extremely lon...

“There are a million beautiful things in this world, Miss Emily. I only wanted one, was that so bad?” and now there are a million and one, this book so incredibly heartbreaking and beautiful. My only hesitation about giving it 5 stars was that what it really garnered from me were a million tears. Th...

Molto bello. Triste, ma fin dall'inizio è chiaro che non ci sarà un HEA, perchè come spiega chiaramente il protagonista, l'amore non può sempre sistemare ogni problema. Altamente raccomandato.

Between 2 and 2,5 starsI am in a tiny minority here. But this book didn't make my heart race. 4.5 stars. I'm typing this through the tears so everything looks very blurry right now. That ending..... HolyOhMyGod! I really enjoyed this. Everything felt very real, from the prison setting to the side characters and even the guards. I love Lem! God how could you not love this man! I have only one...

This was a nice followup to Afflicted. In this one, Hunter and Dillon are decidedly together, working on building a life. Dillon is totally all in, but Hunter is scared. Scared he won't be enough for Dillon, that he won't be able to love Dillon the way he deserves. Dillon is scared too, but he's tot...

Hunter is blind and Dillon is a high priced hooker. Dillon propositions Hunter one night on the street, something he never does. They both are lonely enough to go with it, and a tentative relationship forms. Not tentative because they aren't very into each other, but because they are both afraid the...

This book continues Hunter and Dillon’s story. The atmosphere is a little different than [b:Afflicted|15927486|Afflicted (Afflicted, #1)|Brandon Shire|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1346380275s/15927486.jpg|21678151]. The guys are together and working at their relationship now. Just lik...
