It was actually alright, for a book I am Forced To Read For School and probably will not touch again in the future due to difference in genre tastes. It wasn't torturous at all- it was actually a really nice book. *stares at self in confusion and HORROR*
I remember finding the first chapter boring, the rest pretty good, and the end bewilderingly sad. I'm not sure what the author was trying to elicit, other than the empty feeling I felt towards the end. I'm not sure whether the empty feeling is a good thing, overall. Maybe I should reread it.

I read this in high school, and liked it well enough, but as time went on the memory soured. After reading 1984, I'm ready to read Brave New World. I'm a bit skeptical because the description doesn't sound too interesting and I was told it's difficult to read.
