Sweet, hot, and touching. Carefully controlled to not overload the reader this tale has some seriously gritty elements, but the heroine's salvation so tenderly executed makes the horror of the her past less intense. Yes, it could have been written to be brutal and terrify, but this being the third b...

I liked this book more than the first two because Cherise Sinclair delves into the psychology of the characters more. The picture she draws of Beth is well balanced and shows how someone can be ravaged by abuse but still function in many areas of their life. She also tells a pretty believable stor...

Excellent fuck fest! Sadly, the Nolan –Elizabeth chemistry did not equate well to my fondness.

Master Nolan is most talented at coaxing the desired response from his subs. Beth is a wounded one--physically and mentally abused by her Dom/husband for 2 years--head Dom at the Shadowlands, Master Z is not sure any Dom will be able to bring her back around. He's been through a lot in his past, but he doesn't let himself get hung up on that, and he's not brooding the entire book like some characters are known to do in romances. Also, I loved Beth and the fact that s...

Nolan is a bit of an extreme drama queen. I wasn't as impressed with him based on his exploding at Beth. A bit immature, if you ask me. Still this 3rd book was decent and a good read. Definitely not my favourite of Ms. Sinclair's. The book really should be marked as 3.5 for me.
