2.5 starsKelley Armstrong's werewolves of the Otherworld series are my favorite of the world she has created. Bitten is one of my favorite books, however, I was concerned going into Broken. The topic at hand seemed to be Elena's pregnancy and pregnancy/babies/children are one of two topics which I g...
The story opens with Elena, who, at 5 weeks pregnant, is about to Shift for the first time since she found out about the pregnancy. She is terrified that in doing so, she will potentially lose the baby. And it's not as if there is anyone she can ask for advice. Currently, Elena is the only female we...
Ok, not really sure what to say about this one, I wasn't as great as the other 5 before, but it was still a good read.My main issue with the story I guess was the fact that Elena who is supposed to be a reporter, threw that all out the window in this book, it even seem that common sense was somehow ...
Excerpts: First and second chapterRating: | M | MAAmazon.de (EUR 9,99) | TBD.com (EUR 8,93) | TBD.co.uk (EUR9,98)A little warning: I'm nerding out a bit in the beginning. ;)I always liked Elena and Clay. Elena is a wonderful heroine and her and Clay's relationship is very complex.. or you could pro...
Part six in the extremely diverse Women of the Otherworld series, Broken is sad to say, not the best one. Elena, only known female werewolf, is pregnant of werewolf boyfriend Clay. This makes her more vulnerable, having to rely on her Pack to protect her. When they are sent to Toronto on Pack busin...

Kelley Armstrong returns to her Otherworld roots, in this sixth installment of her series... by bringing back Elena as her narrator. We've only seen sporadic glimpses of our favorite werewolf over the course of the last few books. Those cameos were enough to assure us that she and Clay were going st...
This was a reread for me, something I rarely do. A friend and I were discussing werewolves for some reason, and it came up that I am not a big fan of them usually. I commented that Kelley Armstrong had my favorite werewolves, but when I was asked to explain why I liked them, I realized I didn't real...
I enjoyed this one. It's interesting reading a main character who is pregnant while I am. It actually was frustrating the hell out of me how overprotective everyone was of her. I wouldn't have stood for it at all. But she's a werewolf and you just DON'T defy your Alpha.I liked the new character, Zoe...
I'm a little bummed by this one. Elena just wasn't the same. I didn't really like the pregnancy thing. It definitely had a slow start. The ending was decent though. I loved that Clay and Nick were same as always !!
