ETA 6-9-14: After due consideration, I just promoted this book to my favorites shelf. So not what I was expecting. The "there's someone to love everyone" theme was done so well here. The love story was sweet and emotional. The writing was fluid. The paranormal elements were subtle enough that I ...

An absolute, sheer fucking delight. There's no other way of going about it. I honestly cannot pick any aspect of this book that I didn't want to treasure and hug a thousand times over. The world, characters, sights, scents and everything in between-- it was all so enchanting and powerfully rendered....

I loved Brute. He was strong and good and vulnerable. His story was an inspirational one and there was nothing that I wanted more than for him to find love and acceptance and I was completely invested in him doing so. I love how he comes to the attention of the prince and finds himself at the Palace...

"Do-do you want this?" he whispered."I... I..." ...

A captivating story about a kind and gentle man finding happiness and falling in love for the first time. Ari, aka Brute, leads us through his life which wasn't pleasant for the most part. Due to his large size and simple nature, he was never treated very well after the death of his parents. He is...

Beautiful story about a large man who everyone thinks is stupid because of his size and the criminal set to die in jail for his transgressions. I loved Brute. He had such a big heart and he didn't let how others treated him affect how he treated others. His caring of Gray was wonderful to see unfold...

Reread on 7/31/14 - Stupid 2013 me didn't write a review. Geeze. Review 8/1/14“Don’t you d-dare say you’re ugly or stupid or w-worthless. Don’t you dare! Y-you’re a giant because an ordinary man’s body is t-too small for what you are.”I'm not entirely sure why I didn't write a review in 2013 but I s...
