Children and teenage bullying is becoming an epidemic in not just North America, but throughout the entire world. Children and teens everywhere are experiencing the hardships and the pain that comes with bullying, almost every day of their lives. With nobody to speak to, to reach out to, and left without options, the consequence of this ruthless behavior has left many young individuals to take drastic steps to free themselves of the pain.
Who is responsible for these tragedies? Well, we all have a part to play in this issue whether we are a teacher in our school system, a school supervisor, a mentor, or when we are the parents that are involved in the bullying. As the overlooking adults in the situation it is our responsibility to do what we can to stop these injustices from happening, and to implement solutions so that they no longer continue.
This book teaches you the basics of bullying, diving into what a bully actually is, the effects that it can have on a child or teenager’s psychology, and what the results have been since so many of us began turning the other cheek when some of these kids needed someone, anyone at all, to step in and reach out a hand in comfort. We show you examples of three of the most tragic stories that have come across the news over the last ten years that portray exactly how horrendous and alarming this issue has become. In addition, we offer advice on how these tragedies could have been prevented, as well as what should have happened afterwards.
