Now, this is a great little book! I really enjoyed it. It is about a quirky girl and her quirky friends in a quirky little town. It was fun! Great illustrations, too.

This tiny book gives only tantalising hints of what the peculiar persona of Emily the Strange is like...but it's a delight to look at. The design is wonderful, including the subtle text and images that can only be seen because of differences in the reflectivity of the inks used.

I was so excited to be able to acquire this book, and I expected so much fun from reading it as I always consider Emily The Strange as cool before. but later I don't find that much fun... the plot's flow is kind of too slow, although maybe that's okay if this book is really targeted for pre-teens.
