The humour in this one increases and I enjoyed it greatly. The mysteries in the books seem to get better and better. The complexities are intriguing and pull me into the story. I couldn't put this one down. Definitely a 3.5 star book.In this one, Eve needs to deal with all the media circus with ...
Calculated in Death was a good solid mystery. I liked how the plot played out with the unknown assassin. I didn't understand all of the financial details involved in the mystery, but I really didn't mind. There are the usual cast of characters. The relationship between Peabody and Eve gets funn...
I just love Eve Dallas! She just cracks me up with her dry sense of humor. I can't say enough about this wonderful series. The cases are inspired. The criminals dumb as dirt. Eve and her team are just the brightest and most clever group of characters. I just love everything about this series espec...

A closer look though reveals that things are probably not that simple. If robbery had been the motive, would the th...

This story was very focused on Eve solving the case of the death of an accountant, mother of two and happily married. She also happened to be the sister-in-law of one of Eve's favorite judges. This mystery f...
I love how easy it is to slip right back into Eve & Roarke's world. It's always familiar, without being stale. Eve & Roarke's relationship has continued to grow throughout the series and because of that Eve has been able to face the ghosts of her abusive childhood. The mystery in Calculated in Death...
