I enjoyed this but it was not the fast pace I associate with the author. It was definitely a more "relationship" based story and less adventure/intrigue

A reasonable book, being one to read quickly and forget. I was slightly irritated in that I had the sensation that the author had not done her homework – Many years back I was instructed “If you have not been there do not write about it”!
That was my second Tess Gerritsen novel, but I must say, that the first one was so much better. Call After Midnight is one of her first novel and unfortunately we can see that in the book. The intrigue and plot are not so bad themselves, but characters and their love to each other is unbelievable. S...
