This book brought with it several surprises. I'm still trying to sort whether they were good or bad.The first half of the story kept me worried and distrustful of almost everyone in Vic's circle of friends. Even Jacob seemed dubious at one point and I dreaded the thought that he might be the spy. Th...
Camp Hell delivers more of PsyCop goodness. There is Vic's funny introspection, Jacob in all his glory, more insight in to the depth of Vic's powers and his past, and we learn more about Jacob as a person. Readers who are ready to start with installment #5 are well acquainted with Vic and well, he...
Excellent m/m paranormal romantic suspense in which Vic experiences some personal growth (beyond his paranoia, even!), and both Vic and Jacob have unexpected professional growth.
Good in that the entire series has been building up to this. Bad in that we still didn't get any flashbacks to the worst part of Camp Hell, which makes Vic's resolution harder to buy, and also in that I was finally forced to give up my theory that Jacob wasn't a psychic groupie, he was really turne...
What more can I say about this amazing series.I love it. Bottom line, I love it. I love the story, I love the characters. It all feels so real. One of the best I've read. I just want more and more Vic and Jacob.
This is a longer installment in the PsyCop series and it holds up well. Vic is still a mess with excellent justification for his paranoia. It's really a situation of not being able to trust anyone. We actually revisit some of his time at Camp Hell and get more information about all those forms his ...
08/17/13 0- re-read thoughts - I had forgotten about the evolution within this book. The last paragraph sums it up so nicely - Vic finally trusting and owning his 'gift' and Jacob just being Jacob. He took the information and turned all hot and bothered as usual.
I looooove paranoid Vic!It's a great book, and again I was prepare to give 5 star (up to this one I gave 5 star to all PsyCop serie) but something confused me... and I take 1 star.My doubt is: why Vic try to hide that he can really see ghosts and not only sense them like a lot of another mediums? So...
A solid 4.5 stars ... Ms. Price's "PsyCop" series has become one of my favorites (gay sleuth or not); Book #5 makes me love it even more. This book is by far, the most personal and layered - in terms of Victor's life. We have him relieving the days in Camp Hell, trying to find a very bad spirit in a...
