Even as an less experienced author she creates characters and relationships that are complex and three dimensional and feel real. Claire and Jack's insecurities really hit home with me. I haven't read any harliquin romances before, so this is a first. I think this cover doesn't match the characters in the book. I pictured Jack as tall, hard, and handsome which I think the guy on the cover looks to young and soft. Overall, this was a cute and fast read.
