For more reviews, check out my blog: Craft-CycleOverall, this is a cute graphic novel based on the characters in the My Little Pony show. There are four stories, each with a different writer and illustrator. For the most part, I liked it. There were a few times the comics seemed to break from the sh...

Compared to the 1st collected volume, a little more disjointed in the storytelling. Especially in the Vary stories the backgrounds are omitted entirely, and it felt rushed. Elsewhere felt like a meta-commentary on Finder, so maybe there were some creative blocks or anxieties to work through, and the...

Considering this is over 20 years old, it feels pretty fresh. I'm a huge fan of McNeil's drawing and construction of a page. The voiceover style narration does get to be a bit much at times, I'd rather sink into the world. Really appreciate that Jaeger has body hair - probably is annoying to draw ov...

This is cartel country. The youngsters all have their own problems and it all goes a bit “Lord of the Flies” in ...

The book started off pretty great, but around page 60/part 3, it just went downhill. Instead of sympathizing with the characters I was just shaking my head at their stupidity. I also felt like the plot was a bit confusing. [spoiler]Not only do we have the survivor theme, but we also have some drugs ...

I got this from Netgalley and Diamond Book Distributors. It will be available to the public on June 17th 2014. Since today was free comic day I was in the mood to read something light. This is the perfect comic for a late elementary/middle schooler to read. It is only 88 pages long so it was a quick...

Super cute read! I totally love watching the show in the mornings while feeding my son, so this was a must read. I read this book twice -- once to myself and the second time to my baby sister. Just like me, my sister enjoyed it thoroughly. She loved the colors, the artwork and how funny the characte...

a copy of this graphic novel was provided to me by the publisher in exchange for an honest review. This was super cute. I didn't care for the first story, but I adored the last story. It was nice to see new character pairings - namely, Princess Celestial and Spike, and Twilight with her brother Shin...
