Opening Line:"I clasp the flask between my hands even though the warmth from the tea has long since leached into the frozen air." At the conclusion of CATCHING FIRE two words entered my head “Wow” and “Really!?” Then I caught my breath, checked my heart and read the final chapter again becau...

Good followup to Hunger Games. I thought the ending was too much of a "to be continued" ending. I was almost expecting Katniss to read a letter from Doc Brown saying that he was alive and well in 1885.

Going back to the games seemed like a safe move because she had already been there and we already know how the games wer...

A pretty good follow up to The Hunger Games. Like The Hunger Games it has nothing original about it, and what makes the book good is the strength of the writing and the characters.Katniss is a good character. She is sort of a dope about certain things and does not understand people all that well. ...

I had very high expectations coming into this novel since the first book in the Hunger Games series was so well done. If anything, this novel exceeded expectations. I watched the movie about a week before I read the book, so I mostly knew everything that was going to happen. As good as the movie was...

When I first read the Hunger Games in 2009 I really liked it, and couldn't wait for Catching Fire, which was by that time due in a few months. My sister and I bought the book as soon as possible. I'd been wondering though what exactly would happen in this book and the one that turned out to be Moc...
