If you have read one Cathy Maxwell book, you have read them all. I gave this one 50 pages and it read just like His Christmas Pleasure which was a total snoozer.

DNF. I don't understand why an author, who obviously knows practically nothing about the time period where she sets her books, would write historical romances. There were several historically dubious details in the book prior to the two that ended it for me, e.g. an army horse being used to drive a...

I had a such different reaction to The Bride Says Maybe than I did to the first book. I found I really enjoyed Tara's story. I detested her in the first book, but she goes through a major transformation in this story and I found myself liking her. As I got to know her character's background more,...

After reading the synopsis, you would think that this book was a romance between Aileen and Blake Stephens. I was expecting a romance between the two, but it just wasn't there for me. After reading the book, I can't say I blame Aileen or Blake for falling in love with each other. There was never ...

A delightful surprise! I enjoyed reading it, and now 5 months later, I still can recall it enough through the plethora of other romances I've read to recommend it. The mark of a good book. Originally posted on GR in Jun 2010... four years after I read this and I can still recall a teeny bit, which...

A nice Historical romance with a bit of a supernatural splash. The curse idea was interesting,. I look forward to seeing how it is resolved in later book. I loved Neal and Thea. Their love sotry was very sweet.
