Meet "Four," "Five," and Oscar. "Four" is a champion purrer. "Five" invented the sport of beeing, surprising innocent bees with a bash worthy of a tennis pro. Oscar was adopted later in life after an "excessively Bohemian" upbringing and has a penchant for scratching the primrose yellow silk on the divan. The three share a home and garden with Beverley Nichols, who understands them superbly and rather dotes on them. Nichols wrote dozens of books on topics ranging from politics to gardens, and here muses on his feline companions' charms, proper care, and appreciation. We are choosing to publish these out-of-Timber-niche books because they are pure fun, and because of the enthusiastic reception our reprints of Nichols' gardening books have received.
