While I liked the idea for this book, I didn't like the direction it took. In the middle section of the book, Picoult loses her characters voices and everyone sounds the same (perhaps so she can expound on the various themes presented and provide the data she got through what must have been extensiv...

I've loved some of them (My Sister's Keeper, Perfect Match, Plain Truth, Nineteen Minutes) and been less impressed with others (Vanishing Acts, Second Glance, The Tenth Circle), but I've found all of them wort...

I love Picoult; I absolutely love her. This book was just as amazing as the others, but I probably loved it even more since I gave myself a Picoult break and was able to just savour every moment of this story without being able to predict the plot twists.

I came across this book at the airport bookstore and couldn't resist the temptation. I'm half way through, and so far I love it, but Jodi Picoult is one of those authors were the end makes it or breaks it for them, so I'll withhold any further judgement until I finish.AfterI was a bit in doubt wheth...

The basic storyline is about a man, Shay Bourne, who was convicted 11 years ago of killing a young girl and her stepfather. He was sentenced to death, and now all of his appeals have failed. With his execution date looming, he wants to donate his heart after his death to the half-sister of the gir...
