I am a sucker for the quick, easy, light hearted mystery novels but I could not overlook the far fetched plot of this book. By no stretch of my imagination can I believe the only police officer in town would allow his sister-in-law (Hannah) to take over his investigation of the first murder the town...

Absolutely lovely book. I've made two of the cookie recipes in it, and there are several more that I'd like to make!

It was cute. Light, but entertaining. I love that the book came with cookie recipes. I can't wait to read the rest of the stories.

Hannah is a great character and brought a lot of fun to this book. I also admit to liking all the recipes and am going to try some later on. I am looking forward to reading more books in this series and see where Hannah takes us on her journey.

Didn't like it. They seemed to live in a world where everyone was nice and noticed their wrong-doings, except for the murderer. Hannah does way too much work for her brother-in-law cop who is trying to get a promotion by getting all his leads from her.

This is my new guilty pleasure reading. I ordered the next 6 books in this tongue in check, fluffly, foodie mystery series. It's fluff and proud of it. Doesn't mascarade as literature or anything else than good old fun whodunit mystery. You get great cookie recipes as a bonus. Hannah has the most an...
