Christiania is paranoid fiction, full to the brim with psychotic breaks, tooth-pulling intrusivethoughts, and bad trips.Christiania takes place in an acid trip antiWonderland, drifting through Danish ghost townsplaying games of hide-and-seek with trouble. In the 1970s, caught between the death of hippies and the advent of punk rockers, three drug addicts find themselves living in squats with both groups, taking mystical psychedelics in the hopes of curing their habits in-between overdosing on smack in junky — both in the drug sense and the trash sense — fields.Christiania describes the nightmare of addiction; never knowing who to trust, but so desperate that almost anyone is trusted when in need of a fix.Christiania is comparable to works such as Naked Lunch, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Trainspotting, and was influenced largely by the works of William S. Burroughs.
