4.0 Ciara's Song
This is one of my favourites in the Escarp cycle, despite the first part being very rushed. A lot of ground has to be covered, and it's a bit unsatisfying. The language is very different from the other books, which was a bit jarring at first. But the book tied up loose knots in a satisfactory manner...
