Very cute version of the fairy tale. Loved the sweetness and humor. The characters fit very well together. Just a very nice happy ending story.

3.5-4*I enjoyed this story, it was a cute wink and wave to Cinderella, and lots of other little tidbits of other fairytales built in.I like fairytales and I thought it was a clever take on a classic.

Loved it, was a very nice spin on Cinderella. The transgender part was a bit unexpected but worked out really nicely in the story.

I've heard only great things about this book so maybe that's why I'm disappointed; my expectations were too high. I was expecting a very cute light read but instead I found myself more often than not annoyed instead of going "awwww". None of the characters really stuck with me tbh and some things we...

I was really looking forward to reading this one. I've found myself loving these m/m takes on fairy tales, and usually Marie Sexton is one of my favorite authors. But this book just did not work for me in so many ways.Biggest: it just seems so wrong in this time when people are fighting so hard fo...

Eldon and Xavier are a match made in heaven, though, and their j...

Even for the quick (true, it's not long) part of the story he is a she, Cinder is always a man. His mind...

Marie Sexton at her awesome best! I loved this new take on an old classic. I especially loved how she had them become friends first, and the resolution at the end, but I pretty much couldn't put it down until I was done.

I liked the general idea of the book--you should know that I'm secretly a sucker for fairy tales, newly interpreted or original. ;)One film that is and will always be one of my favourites (at least, when I'm in the mood for something girly and romantic, which, admittedly isn't all that often) is Eve...
