I’ve heard so many good things about this book, and knew I had to read it at some point. Well, I finally picked up a copy from Chapters and could barely put the book down! Here is the summary from Goodreads:Humans and androids crowd the raucous streets of New Beijing. A deadly plague ravages the pop...

I was so very hesitant to read this book, and for the life of me, I could not tell you why. I was not sure of the whole premise of the book, and clearly, I was super super wrong for not reading it sooner!Cinder is a mechanic and a cyborg living in New Beijing. She has no idea of her past, and she on...

Cinder is the type of book that makes me want to cry tears of joy. Sometimes a great book idea gets put into the wrong hands and the whole thing just crashes and burns, but that wasn’t the case with Cinder at all! Cinder far surpassed my expectations and is a book that I am eager to fanatically sh...

Cinder by Marissa Meyer was exceedingly popular last year, so it had to go on my Christmas wishlist ;-). I however had a massive number of books that I needed/wanted to read, so it wasn’t until the sequel Scarlet was set to come out that I finally got my butt in gear, haha. I’m a bit late to the gam...

Read This Review & More Like It On My Blog!Cinderella gets a cyborg twist in this eye-catching and sci-fictionish tale- but that's not all the fun nor all the new changes author Marissa Meyers offers up in her first novel. While absolutely recognizable as a clever retelling of the classic tale of C...

Great story. This dystopian novel goes way past the normal 100-200 years into the future on earth. We're talking probably triple that if not more.Cinder is a adopted cyborg on earth. A little like Cinderella, she's a slave to her guardian (step-mother) and 2 sisters. Only one of the sisters is actua...
