This is a 3rd reading with audiobook this time for me.Okay, I'm officially and forever off Bill. He's in thrall to his former lover, sees her on the side (he says because he was afraid for Sookie) and then plans on breaking up with Sookie through other people. He tries to justify this but both Eri...
A Book Addict's Musings by Readinghearts
Another good read in the Sookie Stackhouse series. Sometimes books in a series get stale. How many times can the main character get in trouble? How many times can the couple break up and get back together? That is not the case with these books. This is one of those series where the main character...

This book was brilliant!!! I was hesitant before in reading it as I'd read a lot of bad reviews about the series, but club dead has to be the best in the series so far, I was disappointed with Bill, but Alcide made up for it, I was laughing out loud throughout! I'd never thought that I'd find a book...

I liked this one better than the first two because the show hasn't caught up to this book yet and I didn't know what was coming.

Part of it was what felt like constant rehashing of facts of the series (such as what true blood is or thin...

Ok finally! I liked this one much better than the first two, part of that was because of the absence of Bill and part was because of the addition of Alcide (and Eric as well). I find both of them much more endearing and much more interesting than Bill. The story line in general was good, although...

A brisk, fun, and sexy read. It's more mystery than vampire fear. Not since the Spenser series by Robert Parker has a book drawn me into such an entertaining web of characters lead by a charismatic protagonist.

*Plot/Storyline* Club Dead takes place at the beginning of December. Bill is working on a computer program and tells Sookie that he will have to travel to Seattle, alone. Days later, a werewolf attacks Sookie at Merlotte’s, but Bubba, who has been sent by Eric to protect Sookie, kills the attacker b...
