I read this awhile ago, but I remember enjoying it and sitting on the edge of my seat with the tension when they were going through the temple. I liked this book when I read it.

In an early attempt at the perfect thriller, Crichton pits scientists against really vicious white great apes. Yeah, to most of us, that would mean humans. Not his finest effort.
