I still can't believe this book turned out to be this creepy and it was written for kids. So unexpected. I liked the movie version better, at least it didn't give me the creep when I watched it.i believe this book is so not suitable for anyone below 15.

This was my first Gaiman, and although this novel isn't really targeted to my particular age group, I still really enjoyed it. I think Gaiman does a nice job of establishing a main character who readers of all ages can at some point to relate to: a young girl who isn't entirely content where she is...

In the past few months, I’ve heard a lot of good things about Neil Gaiman’s work, and so I was really excited when I realised that Coraline was one of his novels. I can confirm that what I had heard was true, I wasn’t disappointed!Coraline is the story of a young girl who just moved into a new house...

Orijinali Kitap Esintisi adresinde. Bi...

It was a few years ago when I saw Coraline the movie. I remember it because I didn't know then what's it about so I expected a cute animated fairy-tale, but what I got was a terrifying horror story that gave me nightmares. I liked it - I like dark fantasy filled with creepy images so now a few years...

although it's young adult fiction and only 162 pages (and some might say, the art work in the animated feature is a world in itself), this short novel is an achivement of imagination and "evokes the uncanny" as some professional reviewer or whoever stated. a set piece set in a single house (and thus...

This quite a frightening story for children, but the message is amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed this and I can not wait to share it with my children. Gaiman, you're a masterful storyteller.

I admit, the movie really ruined this for me! It's not that it wasn't well written, and it's not that it wasn't a wonderfully creative story, with a well built fantastical world. It's just...well, it wasn't the movie. (I missed Wybie...especially the other Wybie with his creepy smiling muteness)....
