Not a bad first book if a little jumbled. A.J. is an extremely reluctant sleuth to the point where you wonder if it's her or her mother that is supposed to be the main investigator. The character herself was a bit hard to relate to at first (I found her cold, hard and bitter) but by the of the book ...
Loved this book. Characters sucked me in instantly. Can't wait to read the next books in the series.
