I had stopped reading fantasy before I was introduced into m/m romance, with the exception of the Nightrunner series (which I stopped after book 3 since friends warned me the series went downhill after), but this book totally helped me remember my love for fantasy. A truly epic adventure!
I rarely find a fantasy romance book that has an in depth culture description, plot, and great sex. They usually are mutually exclusive. This had the nail biting tension of the Sword of Truth series, but the added bonus of a passionate romance. Not to mention it is a male/male romance. If you like ma...
A compelling and well devloped fantasy. It did a good job drawing me into the world of the characters and invested me in their lives and struggles. I look forward to finding out what happens next.
Crazy that I've had this read since the week it was released and yet I kept putting it to the side for in my experience Fantasy ends up one of two ways for me normally: too much world building with no actual progression of the story or when romance/love/lust over-power the fantastical. This read ten...
Full disclosure: it was the cover. I admit it. I mean, wow, just look at it!Really enjoyed reading this by 2 then-NTM authors. Unexpectedly, more high FA than romance (but no complaints from this reader ^.^), with interesting and fairly complex WB. And IIRC, sex scenes were on the light side (w...

This is an epic, world-building fantasy of Elves and Humans, two races who've hated each for centuries. Although I loved the descrip...
I didn't like this book too much. I enjoyed another book of Ms. Haimowitz, but this one didn't do it for me. The 300+ pages filled with hatred, biogry and ignorance only caused me to be pissed, not engaged. As much as I would like to know what happens in the second book, I'm going to have to ask ...
It's a bit hard to decide exactly what rating to give this book. I finally settled for a 3 star rating. The reason why the story got this rating is due to the first half of the book. Personally, I found it hard to relate to the characters, despite the thorough attention to put the reader in that fant...
The begin of the book is soooooooo great and I adore this first part, when you will be introduced to the elf Adyden. With his uncontrollable hair and wild spirit Ayden is perfect. I love this character, and was astonished by his bravery. Trying to save his sister from humans he will be captured, fini...
