I know the hero of this book is supposed to be a rich, enigmatic and secretive hunk of a billionaire, but his conversational skills sometimes border on non-existent. I know what I get when I sign up to the umpteenth billionaire story, but at least I want a hero who doesn't creep me out and a heroine...
Glad I was home sick, watching football when I started reading this book. I couldn't stop and finished it in one sitting. I can't wait for book 2. I need to know what happens to Tristan and Nina. The twist killed me and I felt it from both sides. Hopelessness and fury.
Unfortunately, this wasn’t the book for me. I only made it 25% through the book and for the majority of that, I was bored. I would be willing to give the author another try, just not with this series.
I really hate dnf'ing a book. I especially hate writing negative reviews. But sometime, it just has to happen. This book was just not a good fit for me. That is the nicest possible way for me to explain it and I won't go into too much more detail for fear of running off at the mouth.. erm... keyboar...
