Emma Stanton locked her front door and took in a gulp of the fresh morning air. She loved Sundays. They were always so peaceful and had a special kind of atmosphere. An atmosphere that few people seemed to appreciate in today’s society.

Why wasn’t she married? That was a question she’d often asked herself. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to have a husband, settle down with 2.4 children and become a stereotypical executive’s wife. No, she’d never really been able to decide.
