‘Lightening Jack Bonner’ was not looking to enhance his reputation as a fast gunman so when Billy Quaid challenged him, he admonished the young gunman whose sole aim was to prove his own prowess with a six-gun. “I only draw my six-gun for money. I get paid to shoot my gun and shooting you would pay me nothing. Soon after the once quiet town comes to life when a flood of reporters looking for a story storm into town. Gunmen seeking revenge, for Bonner’s past law enforcement or to enhance their own six-gun reputation begin to show. The town’s residents become overworked and contestants bicker amongst themselves. Things come to a head when Bonner announces an end to the contest but will do one last draw….
