I was most certain that Dying to Please would be getting a 4 star rating but alas, it couldn't. That is not to say that I didn't enjoy it. Rather, something was amiss and I just couldn't bring myself to not be bothered about it. A female butler-slash-bodyguard is a way too intriguing story line for ...

This is a must read for those whole like romantic suspense. This story is fluid with perfectly drawn characters.I went into this without reading the synopsis or any reviews, only the fact that my GR friends had rated it so highly. As advertised, an almost uncomfortably emotional kicker of a tale, but like all good tearjerkers, it hurts so good. Diaz certainly helps.

I have no words.I cried almost non-stop for the last 2 hours of this audiobook and now I'm so exhausted, physically and emotionally that I find I cannot write one of my usual reviews. I'll just recommend this book to anybody who's not afraid of a really tough theme.

Linda Howard is the author that got me hooked on romantic suspense. When I first started reading romance novels, I only read from four authors. Judith McNaught, Julie Garwood, Johanna Lindsey (the Malory series) and Linda Howard. I went to each author for different things, Johanna Lindsey gave me th...

I read this with a lot of trepidation. It's not just that it's painful to read about someone undergoing your own worst nightmare--and I'm not using those words lightly. But it felt like there was almost no place the story could go that wouldn't be horrible and unsatisfying. What can I say without sp...

This book was a definite roller-coaster ride. I think that this has to be every mother's #1 worst fear: That their child will be kidnapped and they will have to live the rest of their lives not knowing what happened to their baby. Milla's baby was taken from her at 6 weeks old, and she has spent the...
