4.5 starsSince arriving on Thropirelem, her name for this alternate Earth, Jace has had to make quite a few adjustments. Not only do Lycanthropes, Vampires and Golems exist, but humans are a less than 1% minority. Karmic (comic) Books are outlawed spells that can set future events. And a time-warp...

I am loving this series so far and Johanna Parker is doing a great job on the narration. Some good twists and turns in this one although it was sad to loose one of the characters but then I wonder if he was really lost....and I have to say the ending on this one....if the next book was not already ...

This book can be confusing at times. Like one second something is happening and the other it's a different scene. Despite this, the book was a really fun read. There is a likable heroine who make GOOD choices, she isn't concentrating on what guy she wants to take home, just on getting the Job done a...

3.1-This edition to the series just made me left me so confused. Major characters just did not show enough and when they did there was no explanations. The new character that was there too much in my opinion, was there for ?? I didn't get her part nor like her at all. Jace the answer to this worlds ...

Audio- 3.7 stars. This second book in the series was better than the first. There was more of a mystery, more action and more focus. I still don't care the the narrator. The third book I bought in print.Jace is still human, still in this alternate universe and still trying to solve a case to get ho...

Audio- ( 2.7 stars)I liked it, I didn't like it. it was thrilling, it was annoying. This has to be the most conflicting book I have read this year. I am a big urban fantasy/mystery fan and this did have that feel. But, yes there is a but- it didn't flow evenly. I wanted more time with the story and ...

As an introduction to a new series this was pretty good. I enjoyed listening to this and even though the narrators voice took a little getting used to I enjoyed her work with the book. Jace has been pulled into another universe against her will. In this world vampires, wares and magic are all very r...

4.15 starsQuick recap of the book for personal purpose ...Three days after finding out that her boss is in love with her, and they had a wonderful night, Cassius left Jace for a job. It doesn't mean that Jace has time to mull over this new relationship, though, since Aristotle Stoker -- Jace's ticke...
