Two thumbs up for strong, well-developed primary and secondary characters in this interesting Western tale. Won't find a stereotyped "Daddy" here, nor a beloved, super woman "Mama" for one, either. Finally find a good down-to-earth story with real people, a solid story line that runs from A to Z. You'll find no erratic twists and turns and no flashy redheads beating you over the head with, "Does he love me?" "Should I love him?" back and forth in every chapter. And you'll find no dripping ooze of pristine pure women and men all over the place who've lead couch-potato do-nothing lives under the thumbs of wealthy controlling mamas and papas. Whew! Relax and enjoy this romance. Well done!
