3.5 starsI love Ed and Laurie together. I thought their friendship was sweet. I thought their romance was sweet. I thought their love was sweet. And I thought their union was sweet. Ed alone is a stubborn idiot who jeopardized his health because of his pride. He’s a glory-days obsessed athlete whose...

Extremely good book. I am amazed at the author's ability to paint the picture of Ed's pain. I could not even imagine how he can live with it. Her descriptions were powerful and vivid.A must read book.

This book is going in my absolute favorites – read again pile. This story is about the physically damaged jock and the emotionally damaged dancer finding love and acceptance. Ed was a semi-pro football player who suffered a scary injury to his neck. Laurie was a professional dancer who went too far ...

I guess I'm on my own here, but I did not love this book. I really liked Ed, but I found Laurie to be beyond frustrating. His angst seems manufactured, and the way he treats Ed is miserable. Ed jokes around with him once, and he flips out. Not cool, not cool at all. I found him to be unsupportive, a...
