Emo Vampire X Mary Sue, zero action, more than three hundred pages of explanations and dreams. Lovely if you like these things. Unfortunately, I don't.
Really on the 3 and a half stars rounded up side. This was a good book, an enjoyable read. But the H was too angsty and kind of insecure for my tastes (it's part of the story and world building but still not my cuppa). Perhaps this is what they mean by 'beta hero?'
