Meh. This one wasn't my favorite, these books are becoming rather predictable. I wish these were more like "Dark Celebration". That book was a refreshing change of pace.I do commend Christine Feehan on coming up with new and inventive ways of disposing of the vampires.

1.5 starsIt wasn't completely horrible, but it didn't advance the storyline in any major way. I am happy to have Zacarias' story, but I was hoping for major movement in completing this series. It is dragging for much too long, unnecessarily. Zac and Marguarita were ok, nothing new in the characteriz...
3.5*The chick is a true submissive. She would do anything to please Zacharias... That with some other small things made me give it 3.5* It was a nice story, the action moved forward a little... I can't way to see who's next :>PS: I think I would have liked it more if I didn't read it after Archangel...

I was beyond disappointed and actually quite furious about what this book represents. Like many other readers, I have been really looking forward to read Zacarias' story. Christine Feehan is one of my favorite writers but this book was just okay. It seemed to be a repeat of most of the last few books. I just felt a let down after it was over. Some parts I did enjoy get but the overly macho and my way or the highway was just to much for me.
