I am a Star Wars nerd and I don't see this changing soon, especially considering I STILL REVISIT EPISODES IV - VI FROM TIME TO TIME (I can't resist the magic). [... I hope I am not supposed to use spoilers down there. I mean, let's be reasonable. This is one of the most iconic quotes in the histor...
Darth Vader as a normal father! That's what this lovely graphic book is about and I have to say I enjoyed every single page. It didn't make me laugh out loud or anything but I never stopped smiling. As a Star Wars fan, I really enjoyed this book and it sure brought back great memories.
In Episode 3½: Darth Vader and Son, Jeffrey Brown presents an amusing alternate reality in which Darth Vader is raising his four-year-old twins himself. (While this book focuses on Luke, there is also one for Leia.)It's definitely worth a chuckle to watch little Luke ask his father where babies come...
I have a new post on my blog, The Itinerant Librarian, with a short review of these excellent books. Excerpt: "I recently read these delightful books. If you are a Star Wars fan, you need to be reading these, and you probably want to add them to your collection. Though I borrowed them from my loca...
I don't get myself many picture books, but I just had to get this one, and I am so glad I did! It's adorable, funny, and just absolutely enjoyable to read! I bought this one for myself, but if I ever have kids, I'll definitely be showing them this one. ;D
This was an awesome quick read! The illustrations are beautiful and the blurbs are excellent! It's a great concept! Darth Vader actually being a dad to Luke. Perfect book for the Star Wars fan of any age. Can't wait for the Leia one!"This is not the toy you are looking for."
Me l'ha portato mio fratello dal suo viaggio negli USA.. Ho un fratello fantastico?!!*_* Lo amo, questo libro! L'avrò "letto" almeno cinquanta volte in questi due giorni!!Ha rallegrato la mia settimana..
Not bad. It is just as I expected. Darth Vader act like the single father with a 4 year old. The using of the force to pour cereals, the sitting in space ship and being asking "are we there yet?".Anyone who like Star war would have liked it, or thought of it before. It is not surprising enough. That...
Holy crap. I don't think this book could have been any more adorable. The entire SW universe is contained (in one way or another) in this little book. So darned cute.
