The match: Willie Vander. His youth wasted in prison, Willie returns to the town he tried to escape, only to find his dreams of freedom further out of reach than before. With his family in ruins, and the bank calling loans on the remains of their farm, Willie takes matters into his own hands.

The tinder: Grady Ollers. A former teacher, driven to hellish depths by unfortunate circumstances, is known for his alcoholic antics around town. A derision to the citizens of Felling’s Creek, this frail character now stands accused of murdering three people in a drunken shooting spree.

Will this small town be engulfed by the flames of one man’s personal quest to straighten his tilted world? Or in their grief, will they fail to separate bias from truth and begin a crusade of their own to punish a convenient target?
