well, mild spoilers Before I get started, I just want to say that this series isn’t just for supernatural genre lovers. I feel like this can be a great read for people who don’t read much fantasy as it’s fast paced and just enough of an in-depth world to not confuse readers. I’d definitely recommen...

Holy crap. I am loving Karou's journey. I was up and down all throughout this book. I wanted to cry with her and despair and laugh and fight. I love that she is finding herself and carrying herself through this journey without simply running into the arms of a man. She is young and scared but a...

I'm not going to lie. This book hurt. A lot. Ever present are feelings of guilt, shame, longing, and grief. The suffering these characters go through? Unbelievable. I hurt most of all for Akiva and Ziri; at times I hated Karou. I can't say I liked reading this book but it definitely stirred m...

I am in LOVE with this trilogy! It's full of action and suspense. The writing is incredible! And the characters (for the most part) are equally as enjoyable. My only complaint lies with the main character, Karou. I had no problem with her in the first book, but in this one... she was a bit annoying....

If you are looking for a happy book, this is not it. There is little happy about this book. It's about war, and aftermath, about guerrilla tactics and terrorism, about monsters leading the game, and families being slaughtered. And paying evil unto evil in a seemingly unending cycle. Plus some very...

"It doesn't matter what happens to me, she told herself. I am one of billions. I am stardust gathered fleetingly into form. I will be ungathered. The stardust will go on to be other things someday and I will be free." Simply magical, beautiful, heart wrenching and extraordinary.
