Dexter is going after a priest who have raped and killed children as young as 5 year old. That's the best opening. Hundreds of Catholic priests who have raped children have gotten away with it. Who wouldn't want some cleaners to go after these Catholic priests in the neighborhood. Dexter is a ...

This book (in my opinion) doesn't contain as much excitement or mystery as the first, largely due to the fact that Dexter has to tame himself for reasons I won’t spoil. Dexter’s comical sarcastic side still appears often, which is one of my favorite aspects. In fact, I realized that Dexter’s interac...

I liked this one better than the first. Dexter is growing on me. I'm certain I'll end up watching the show. The biggest thing that bugs me is his sister. She is always bitching, and every other word is GD. Ms. Potty Mouth needs a valium. I'm interested to see where his connection with his girl...

Second day of my Dexter Morgan marathon and Book Two is done. Have I mentioned how much I love Audible's x3 narration speed? Well, it really isn't x3, as an eight hour book still took four hours to listen to, but it's still a quick way to barrel through a series of short books. This is the point whe...

5 stars for narration. Mr. Lindsay, you sir, have a creepy voice. I like it. The book was just alright. I grew tired of Dexter waxing poetic over the moon and the Dark Passenger (see what I did there? Heh.), and for someone who appreciates alliteration as much as myself it quickly became redundant. ...

Dexter, quite possibly one of fictions most charming serial killers, is back in book 2 dodging punches from Deb, spouting off quips and doing a little righteous slaying. This time he’s hunting down a pedophile to calm his “dark passenger” but he‘s having a hard time finding some “me” time because of...

Dexter's back and it's not as good as the first, tho he's still a compelling character, with a strange attraction. It's strange to be empathising with a serial killer but cleverly that's what Jeff Lindsay has you do in this series. Dexter is being haunted by Sergeant Doakes, who's convinced he's up...

Not fabulous literature, no, but sometimes you just need a break and read something for the pure entertainment of it :)

This one has a few plot threads that are vaguely similar to the series's season 2. But it was different enough that I never really knew what was coming. That's always pleasant.

More suspenseful than the first yet with the same level of crazy I've come to expect from this series, this book definitely did not disappoint.
