I couldn't help and read it, since I already had the ebook and didn't want this to have been for naught, not to mention that I wished to see with my own eyes how it differed from the TV series, but... that second installment didn't satisfy me either. While I found Dexter's voice more interesting and...

Another well written book. I liked it but certainly not to the level that I enjoyed Darkly Dreaming Dexter. I find it frustrating that I am already growing bored with a series (2 books into 7) after liking the first as much as I did. I think the issue lies in the ancillary characters. I am not findi...

What is it about Dexter that I'm just not getting? Here is a character without a redeeming feature - who talks about training his future step-son in the ways "Harrys Path". Dexter doesn't seem to live on the same planet as the rest of us - fixated on the moon and the mutterings of his Dark Passeng...

My favourite serial killer is back once again. By day he is continuing to work for the Miami Police department as a blood splatter analyst and of course by night, he is slashing his way through the dregs of the Miami society. There are just a few problems in Dexter's happily ordered life of work a...

Having watched all of Dexter on TV, I spend most of my time making comparisons between the book and the story, for better or for worse. I love that the TV show held so true to the book in terms of characterization as it certainly helped to bring them to life in the books. Of special interest to me w...
