I just finished Death's Mistress by Karen Chance. Loved it!!! I love Chance's writing, and this was no exception. Action-packed from start to finish. Poor Dory is always jumping from one crisis to another, but she still finds time for some light, hilarious hanky-panky in between. This book has a ble...
I'd rate this 3.5 stars. At first I thought it would be a lot like the previous books Midnight's Daughter with these long drawn out stolen memories thing going on but there were only a few. My mind did start to wander during some of the fight scenes - they felt extremely long. I was also a little...
I cannot put my finger on it, but think I am just not connecting with the author's writing style or something...Meh--I liked it , but not in love with the series.I really like the dynamics between Dory and LC--duh...who doesn't right? I really enjoy the fact that Dory isn't so stubborn that she fai...

*Original read: 1/17/104.5 starsThe thing I really love about Karen Chance's writing, aside of course from the dynamic characters, bite & humor and studly, studly leading men, is the adventure. You will never know from chapter to chapter where you might end up. I dare you to try to predict one of th...
