I really loved Hunter. Who knew all that was underneath the unreadable Gen One hunter? I thought Corinne was an interesting choice in mate, but I didn't like her power. It didn't seem like much help.I felt like too much of Chase's struggle was in this one. It took away from Corinne and Hunter. ...

I loved it. A great comeback from the previous book which I disliked. This read seemed more edgy and dark. Chase's condition was described so accurately and ran parallel to a human that is strung out that I have to give Adrian kudos. Some readers might not like the topic, but it took this read to a...

This was by far the best book of the series. The relationship between Corinne and Hunter blossoms from a first meeting into something utterly beautiful by the end of the book and it was precious to see this mighty warrior, this unemotional, calculated and lethal assassin, fall in love with a woman w...

I can't believe I'm at teh end of the series (for now). What a heartwrenching journey - grief, loss, the strength of a woman fighting for her child...it all is wrapped up in the words of this book. Excellent, wonderful, hot, demanding, intense. Five stars!

Much as I like this series, this story was a bit lukewarm for me. I'll re-read when I go through a series re-read, but I can't imagine picking it up solo.

Great addition to the series but I've grown tired of the Dragos arc. Adrian needs to wrap it up. Plus, Chase needs some happiness so let's hope the next book is his - everyone else is happy (sorta if you don't count the bad guy wanting to take over EVERYTHING!)

This series keeps you wanting more. Lara has made us care about the order and what happens to them. When Corine Bishop was captured by Drago her life totally changed. Kept prisoner for so many years, there was only one thing that could keep her hope alive. Now rescued by the order she wants to find th...

I found it difficult to get over the fact that Hunter, who until very recently didn't know shit from Shinola when it came to emotions, felt certain he loved Corinne just because he spent a couple of nights rolling between the sheets with her. He seemed more like a lovestruck virgin to me. And Corinn...

I love Hunter. I think he is a great character. It has been good to watch him grow from just a killer to a "person" who is not afraid of dealing death, but there is more to his life than that now. I was not as big of a fan of Corinne. She is a strong woman and I am not 100% sure what I did not l...
