It's between okay and I liked and I see potential so I'm giving it a chance. I liked that the idea was something that I haven't seen before and I'm excited to find out what will happen next. I see some missed opportunities with whatever is going on action wise, but I think the author might be trying...

I had a lot of fun reading this one. The idea - a lawyer representing souls in Purgatory or Hell and who are appealing their everlasting judgement, was very interesting. I liked the set-up and her fellow angel helpers. Some interesting things were set up, and it included a fun mystery, too.

A slow starter. I wasn't sure if we'd ever arrive at the heart of the mystery or the point of the book, but once the mystery of not only the murder but the history of the characters began to emerge the book went from mildly interesting to captivating. A great deal of background was offered in this...

This book was a total bust. So much potential and it turned out being a big "so what?". Character too dense for belief, not grasping what she was and what was going on around her. The book was totally throw-across-the-roomable dozens of times!
